They champion best practice, mentor emerging talent, and help shape the agenda for the International Cheese & Dairy Awards and EXPO. Selected from retail, foodservice, manufacturing, artisan, technical, and supply-chain leadership, our Ambassadors embody standards the sector can trust.


What an Ambassador does

  • Connects the ecosystem: Links producers, buyers, chefs, technologists, and suppliers to drive practical collaboration.
  • Amplifies quality and innovation: Spotlights ideas that improve taste, efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

  • A short statement (150–250 words) describing their impact and why they’d be a strong Ambassador
  • One example of knowledge-sharing or mentoring they’ve provided
  • Any relevant links (case studies, awards, articles)

  • Can I nominate myself?

    Yes—self-nominations are welcome with a referee.

  • Is there a deadline?

    Nominations are reviewed quarterly; earlier submissions may be fast-tracked for EXPO programming.

  • Do Ambassadors judge the Awards?

     Yes, if this is something you would like to become involved in.

  • Is there a fee?

     The role is honorary and contribution-based, and generally for a period of 24–36 months, renewable by mutual agreement.
