Daniel Williams is the fifth generation of award-winning independent grocer Godfrey C. Williams & Son, based in Sandbach, Cheshire. Established in 1875.

Well-known as specialists in cheeses, coffee, and local food & drink. Their cheese counter regularly hosts up to 200 British and continental cheeses, with a heavy emphasis on local and British Artisan. Daniel's roles at Godfrey C. Williams & Son include Cheese Buyer, Coffee Roaster, and English Wine Buyer.

Daniel's Cheese Celebration Cakes have received much acclaim, winning Gold at both the International Cheese & Dairy Awards 2018 & 2019. His Cheeseboards and Grazing Platters have also proved popular, winning Gold at International Cheese & Dairy Awards 2019.

Daniel has judged cheese for the International Cheese & Dairy Awards, the World Cheese Awards, and the Royal Cheshire County Show, as well as general judging for the Great Taste Awards. He has also trained with the Guild of Cheese Graders.
