The International Cheese & Dairy Awards (ICDA) & EXPO returns in 2026 with a strengthened platform for brands to build profile, meet buyers, and convert conversations into commercial results.

Sponsorship packages are now open across high-impact features - spanning the Awards, the trade-only EXPO, and new content-led touchpoints - giving partners year-round visibility and credible association with the world’s most respected dairy stage.

This year’s programme brings retail, foodservice, and technical audiences together under one roof.

Sponsors will benefit from targeted reach, integration into curated content, and measurable outcomes - from qualified leads and product sampling to broadcast exposure and post-event editorial. If your objective is listings, menu placements, or sector authority, ICDA & EXPO 2026 provides the right levers in one place.

Why sponsor ICDA & EXPO 2026

Under the theme of Dairy Connect | Connecting Dairy's Future the event unites decision-makers from supermarkets, discounters, convenience, QSR, casual dining, contract catering, distributors, and procurement—alongside master cheesemakers, technologists, and packaging and process suppliers.

Your brand gains:

  • Authority: Alignment with the world’s largest and most trusted cheese and dairy awards.
  • Access: Direct engagement with qualified buyers and technical decision-makers.
  • Amplification: Multi-channel visibility across the show, digital channels, and post-event content.
  • Accountability: Clear deliverables, captured leads, and post-show reporting.

Key Sponsorship (Headline & Tiered Partner Packages)

Own the spotlight with naming rights across high-traffic moments. Packages can include master branding across entrances and stages, hosted buyer lounge visibility, show guide and app takeovers, daily host mentions, and priority speaking roles in the EXPO theatres. Designed for organisations seeking category leadership and broad trade reach.

Class or Section Sponsorship (Awards)

Associate your brand with excellence in a specific product class (e.g., Cheddar, Blue, Soft & Semi-Soft, Butter, Yoghurt). Benefits typically include brand presence on judging collateral and display plinths, mention in winners’ announcements, rights to reference “Official Sponsor, [Class]” in marketing, and options to present trophies on stage.

Exhibition Stands & Feature Attractions

Secure premium floor positions and align with curated attractions that drive dwell time and footfall (e.g., Winners’ Showcase, Networking Lounge, Awards Hall). Packages can bundle stand space with feature branding, guided tour inclusion, and data-capture mechanics to maximise qualified interactions.

Education Centre (Technical & Buyer Content)

Power the learning agenda that buyers and technologists rely on. Sponsorship includes theatre naming rights, programmed speaking opportunities (non-sales, insight-led), session recordings for post-show amplification, and lead generation via session scans and downloads.

FOODSERVICE  Kitchen

Extend your reach into consumer storytelling with the Foodservice Kitchen - live demos that translate cheese and dairy into menu inspirations. Ideal for brands seeking content, recipe integration, and brand collaborations. Includes on-set branding, product placement, and content usage rights.

Judge’s Comments (Insight Assets)

Turn the rigour of ICDA judging into premium content. Sponsor the production and publication of anonymised “judge’s comments” summaries for selected categories - creating a unique editorial asset that can be shared with trade buyers and across owned channels, with your brand credited on each release.

Live Streaming of the Event

For the first time we are bringing the Awards Ceremony to a global audience with branded live streams. Includes on-screen idents, presenter mentions, and post-event video cuts for continued reach.

Cheese & Dairy Report (Post-Show Editorial)

Own our new flagship post-show report — an analysis of trends, innovation, and winners, distributed to the ICDA trade community and reader of our sister publication The Dairy Mail. Packages include front-cover logo, foreword opportunity, data-capture on downloads, and a co-branded webinar to unpack findings with buyers and suppliers.

Press Event (Media & KOLs)

Host or co-host the official media briefing. Gain front-row access to food journalists, influencers trade press, and key opinion leaders.

Benefits include backdrop branding, product tasting inclusion, media interview slots, and a post-briefing media kit with analytics.

A blue cheese made by Long Clawson Dairy was named Supreme Champion Cheese in Stafford, UK on Thursday 30 June. Shropshire Blue rose to the top as the best UK and intern ational cheese at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards, which was held at Staffordshire County Showground as part of the three-day cheese and dairy event, combining a one-day trade show with a two day consumer festival – Love Cheese Live. Produced by The Long Clawson Dairy co-operative established in 1911 that continues to be run by farmers and relies on local milk from over 41 farms in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to create a range of very special cheeses. “We’re delighted that our small farming cooperative, where the craft and care of our master cheesemakers is so important to us, was recognised through our delicious Shropshire Blue entry. We’re still on high spirits after our win and are busy making space in our awards cabinet for the Supreme Champion Trophy!” said Bill Mathieson, Managing Director, Long Clawson Dairy. Despite its name, Shropshire Blue isn't made in Shropshire, nor has it ever been. It was originally made in Scotland and is now made in the Stilton producing regions of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire by Long Clawson Dairy. The cheeses are then matured for their full term of n a period of 10-12 weeks, it forms an orange-brown, natural rind and smooth texture. With a sharp, strong flavour and a bit tangy aroma, it is a vegetarian's cheese having a fat content of 48%. Dai Williams, Head pf Judging at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards commented, “Once again we have had fantastic support from all aspects of our industry with 238 judges from all business sectors supporting us on the day. The effort to judge 4000 cheeses in 400 plus classes and get to the winner in four hours is a fantastic achievement by all.” In a close-run final, the Supreme runner up was awarded to a goats cheese made by FrieslandCampina in Holland. The Supreme Champion Dairy Product (non-dairy) went to Fonterra for their culinary cream and Morrisons were awarded Supreme Cheese Retailer. Ian Luxton, Chairman of the International Cheese & Dairy Awards, added: “As the ICDAs was founded over 125 years ago to showcase the work of the British and International cheesemakers, it gives me immense pleasure to see a cheesemaking business with such history taking top honours. It’s an incredible feat to stand out in a field of over 4,000 cheeses from every corner of the world, but Long Clawson clearly had everything: delivering an exceptional appearance, aroma, texture and flavour. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the sponsors, retailers, suppliers to the industry, competitors and trade for their continued support of this very special awards and one rich in heritage.” The 125th International Cheese & Dairy Awards was bigger and more international than ever before, featuring over 4,000 entries. The competing classes represented countries from all around the world. All entries were judged in a single day, as 238 experts considered appearance, texture, aroma, and flavour of the cheese, dairy and accompaniments. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Champion accolades were awarded first, before the Supreme Champions were reassessed to find this year’s trophy winners.
